Argyle Award

Closing Date: 30 Sep 2025

Open to students from the Marlborough region (either attending secondary school, or resident in), intending to study agriculture or environmental management at Lincoln University.

John Chaytor Memorial Scholarship

Closing Date: 31 Oct 2025

Open to students from the Marlborough District to take a diploma or degree course in agriculture or horticulture at Lincoln University.

Horticulture NZ Undergraduate Scholarships

Closing Date: 1 Dec 2025

New Zealand King Salmon Aquaculture or Business Scholarship

Closing Date: 28 Feb 2026

Aim of the scholarship: NZ King Salmon has made this scholarship available as a demonstration of its commitment to the Top of the South region and to supporting the success of the scholarship recipients where it can. 

For a current student (ākonga) enrolled in a specific NMIT Aquaculture Studies programme (Certificate, or first (1st) or second (2nd) year Bachelor) or a Business Studies programme:
• New Zealand Certificate in Aquaculture (Level 3) OR
• New Zealand Certificate in Aquaculture (Level 4) OR
• NMIT Bachelor of Aquaculture and Marine Conservation (first of second year) OR
• NMIT Business Studies programme (preferably, New Zealand Diploma in Primary Industry Business Management (Level 5)).

 

Garden Marlborough Scholarship

Closing Date: 31 Mar 2026

Open to students undertaking a degree or diploma in either Landscape Architecture or Horticulture at Lincoln University, with a preference given to Marlborough region residents.

Margaret Watling Scholarship

Closing Date: 31 Mar 2026

Open to students from the South Island to further their studies or obtain practical experience in a horticulture-related field at Lincoln University.
