Open to undergraduate students at a tertiary institution who are looking to contribute their skills to the red meat sector in the future. The programme offers:

• Undergraduate scholarships of $5,000 a year for each year of study for up to three years
• Assistance with obtaining study related projects / vacation work experience
• An introduction to the red meat industry networking opportunities
• Mentoring

Every year Horticulture New Zealand and the New Zealand Fruitgrowers Charitable Trust each offer one scholarship to a postgraduate student studying in New Zealand. These scholarships are offered to students undertaking postgraduate study because innovation and tackling challenges head-on is critical to the horticulture industry's future success.

Open to children of Ravensdown shareholders to undertake an agricultural or horticultural degree at either Lincoln, Waikato, or Massey University.

Open to students who wish to undertake postgraduate research that is of relevance to the New Zealand Onion industry. 

Open to rural students about to enrol in their first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma at Lincoln University, intending to study a degree or diploma that will allow them to take up farming, horticulture or similar as a career.

Open to students undertaking the Certificate in Wool Technology at Southern Institute of Technology.

Open to students enrolled or intending to enrol in masterate or doctoral programmes in the fields of agriculture, agriculture-related technologies or the study of rural society. 

Open to students enrolling in either a one year Honours Degree or in the papers year of a Masters degree in either Human Nutrition or Food Science/Consumer Food Science.

Open to students enrolled in either a postgraduate or undergraduate course in agriculture or horticulture at Massey University, who intend to study overseas as part of their programme.

Open to students undertaking a full time degree course in either viticulture or wine sciences.

Open to postgraduate students enrolled in a Postgraduate course of study in a course of relevence to the viticulture and wine industry.

Open to students who have completed the first year of study who are members of Jersey New Zealand.

Open to students undertaking a full-time course of at least one year in an agricultural or other related subject.  This includes related studies such as horticulture, veterinary, bee keeping, aqua farming and viticulture.

Open to students entering their second year of Bachelor of Commerce & Management at Lincoln University, and intending to undertake a career in Rural accounting.

This is an undergraduate scholarship for a student that is studying full-time, who wants to pursue a career in sustainable crop and animal production or related agribusiness sectors.

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognise and support high-achieving students entering their first year of the Bachelor of Forestry Science (BForSc) degree programme at the University of Canterbury.
