Open to students specialising in poultry husbandry at Massey University.

Eligibility criteria

Individuals who have previously attended Oratia Primary School who are or will be attending full time tertiary study at Lincoln University or Massey University. Mr Stark-Brown provided a special wish (but not limited to) that applicants had attended Oratia Primary School for at least one year and that they be studying in the field of either Horticulture or Agriculture.

The Scholarships

Scholarships will be awarded at a minimum of $5,000 for one year. Successful applicants have the option of applying to the Trustee for a continuation of the scholarship annually until the course of study is complete.

Open to postgraduate students undertaking postgraduate research within the School of Veterinary Science or the School of Agriculture and Environment.

Open to current and former students of the wider Taupo District area Colleges, or family members of the Central Plateau Vet Society Inc members, intending to study Veterinary Science or an Agricultural related degree at either Massey or Lincoln University.

Each year we help two promising agriculture students starting their first year at university. FMG's agriculture scholarship provides.

Whakapapa Scholarship is given to a 2nd year student with whakapapa to one of the Māori Incorporations, Companies or Trusts for whom Perrin Ag works closely with to maximize the sustainable returns from their farming operations.

Perrin Ag wishes to offer a scholarship of up to $3,000 for a promising individual to continue agriculture, horticulture or related science studies at undergraduate, post-graduate diploma or Honours level at either Lincoln, Waikato or Massey Universities.

Open to students from the Manawatū studying towards a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Horticulture.

Open to postgraduate female students enrolled for a Masters or PhD programme at Massey University, and studying a topic that will benefit horticulture or agriculture industries.

Open to Manawatu students studying towards a degree in agriculture, horticulture, agribusiness or veterinary science at Massey University.

Open to students enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on agriculture.

Open to students in their first year of study, and be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at Massey University either in agriculture or environmental management.

Open to students facing financial hardship enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on agriculture.

Open to students who have completed the first year for an undergraduate degree in agriculture at Massey University. 

Open to students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate programme in the field of Agriculture or Horticulture at Massey University, and must have completed their first year of the programme. 

Open to postgraduate students studying agribusiness and researching a topic related to New Zealand exports.

Open to students enrolled full-time in agriculture, horticulture or animal science at Massey University who are facing financial hardship.

Open to students from the Wairarapa enrolled in a Bachelor's degree programme in agriculture or horticulture full-time at Massy University.

Open to horticulture students at Massey University who are undertaking the third year of their undergraduate degree.

Open to students at Massey or Lincoln Universities at Honours or Masters Level, studying in an area of Agriculture, Agriculture Science, or Science (majoring in areas such as, Agricultural Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Animal Science).

Open to students at Massey University majoring in Horticulture at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Open to Chinese students enrolled in either a first degree or a postgraduate degree or diploma in Applied Academic Programme disciplines relevant to agriculture.

Open to students who want to or are studying a postgraduate diploma, postgraduate degree, or a doctoral degree with a focus on agriculture or horticulture.

Open to students of Massey University enrolled at postgraduate level in studies on farm production topics beneficial to the dairy industry.

Open to students enrolled full time for a postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma in soil science at Massey University.

Open to postgraduate students at Massey University studying soil science full time.

Open to students enrolled in a master's degree in horticultural science at Massey University.

Open to a postgraduate student undertaking a research project relevant to tree crop culture in New Zealand.

Open to students enrolled in a postgraduate diploma, postgraduate degree, or doctoral degree with a focus on agriculture or horticulture at Massey University.

Open to candidates who want to or are undertaking research in the field of or related to pastoral science at postgraduate level.

Open to students undertaking postgraduate research with a topic in an area relating to the New Zealand arable farming sector.

Open to Hawke's Bay students currently enrolled in a full time land based production industries programme, either graduate or post-graduate, at a New Zealand University.

Open to students from Massey University embarking on the second year of a Bachelor of Agriculture Degree or a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in the agricultural area.

Open to children of Atihau Whanganui Incorporation shareholders to undertake an agricultural or horticultural degree.

Open to students wishing to become charted accountants, with an interest in rural, agricultural and/or agrifood industries, to complete their accountancy qualification through Massey University.

Open to fourth-year veterinary science students who are interested in General Practice with an emphasis on large animal and/or production animal medicine.

Open to students enrolled full time in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree in their fourth year of study with an interest in large animal health.

Open to fourth-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students interested in large animal veterinary science. 

Open to a third-year undergraduate student studying accountancy or agribusiness, who is facing financial hardship.

Open to final year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Agribusiness at Massey University.

Open to students entering undergraduate study at Massey University, who want to study soil science and farm management as part of their degree.

Open to honours, postgraduate and masters students at Massey University, studying at post graduate level to research topics of relevance to Horizons Regional Councils SLUI programme.

Open to students in their third year, honours year, or Masters at Massey University, specialising in soil science, land use mapping, and land management.

Open to fourth-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students who are interested in large animal production medicine. 

Open to students studying agriculture or related science at either Lincoln, Massey or Waikato University.

Open to fourth year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students who have an interest in rural large animal practice.

Open to fourth year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students with an interest in all aspects of rural practice (production animals, equine and companion animals) or with an interest in excellent companion animal medicine and surgery.

Open to undergraduate or postgraduate veterinary science students with a passion for horses.
