Open to fourth year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students who have an interest in rural large animal practice.
The value of grant is $5,000 and the tenure is one year. The grant may include accommodation for the period of the internship, if required.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Be available to “see practice” with the designated participating practice for two weeks in November/December at the end of the fourth year
- Be available to “see practice” with the designated participating practice for two weeks in the Spring of the final year.
The participating practices are Tararua Veterinary Services Limited in Pahiatua and Veterinary Services Dannevirke Limited in Dannevirke.
