Open to students between 16 and 20 years of age and studying in at least their third year of secondary education, who aspire to a career in farming and agribusiness.
Smedley Station offers a two-year farm cadetship programme, from January to December each year, for 13 trainees. The cadetship training is fully sponsored by the trust. This covers all your on-farm food and accommodation expenses. All you need to do is to buy your own clothes, harness gear and dogs.
