Haane Manahi Memorial Scholarship
Closing Date: 7 Apr 2026
Open to Ngati Whakaue descendents wishing to further their education in forestry, farming or trades at any tertiary provider.
Frank Sydenham Scholarship
Closing Date: 25 Sep 2026
Scholarship(s) to enable students to undertake bachelor or post-graduate level studies in horticulture or agriculture or forestry (or related subjects).
Preference will be shown to students from within the statutory boundary of the Bay of Plenty Regional Council, or students from outside that region who intend to utilise the outcome of their studies in the Bay of Plenty region or neighbouring areas.Preference will be shown to students wishing to undertake post-graduate study.
Scholarships are currently scheduled to open in September but this is subject to change.
Nb. There are two entries for Frank Sydenham – one indicates it is for Maori only, via the Maori Education Trust, this is incorrect. Maori Education Trust do put forward some applicants for the Frank Sydenham Scholarship, but they are one and the same.

Harwood Farm Trust Scholarship
Closing Date: 25 Nov 2026
Open to students with a connection to the East Coast of the North Island, with an interest in training/education in farming and its related disciplines.
