Open to students from Lincoln University, who have undertaken a degree broadly related to Horticulture, and intend on continuing on to postgraduate study, work experience, or research in the USA or Canada.

Open to students residing within the Canterbury Land District, who are about to enter their final year of a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at Lincoln University.

Hogan Hurst Horticulture Scholarship

Open to students who have completed at least one year of a degree or diploma with a viticulture or horticulture focus at Lincoln University.

John Chaytor Memorial Scholarship

South Island Agricultural Field Days Inc. Scholarships

Open to Young Farmers Club members, who are currently, or will shortly be commencing, full time study at Lincoln University to improve their skills and knowledge in relation to farming.

Lincoln University Centennial Trust Travel Awards

Open to students who are studying an agricultural or land based degree at Lincoln University and wish to undertake a recognised exchange or study abroad programme. 

John W & Carrie McLean Trust Scholarship

Closing Date: 1 Nov 2024

Open to postgraduate students from Lincoln Unversity planning to undertake sheep research.

Whakapapa Scholarship

Closing Date: 30 Nov 2024

Whakapapa Scholarship is given to a 2nd year student with whakapapa to one of the Māori Incorporations, Companies or Trusts for whom Perrin Ag works closely with to maximize the sustainable returns from their farming operations.

Perrin Ag wishes to offer a scholarship of up to $3,000 for a promising individual to continue agriculture, horticulture or related science studies at undergraduate, post-graduate diploma or Honours level at either Lincoln, Waikato or Massey Universities.

Applicable Māori organisations are as follows: Kokako Trust, Ngāti Whakaue Tribal Lands Inc, Ngāti Makino Farm Trust (via Otamarakau Farm Ltd), Opepe Trust, Ransfield Incorporation, Rotoiti 15 Trust (via Otukawa Whenua Ltd), Te Karangi A2 Trust, Waiteti Whenua Trust

Open to rural students about to enrol in their first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma at Lincoln University, intending to study a degree or diploma that will allow them to take up farming, horticulture or similar as a career.

Open to South Canterbury students who are undertaking a course of study to major in the biological sciences at one of the Universities of Otago, Canterbury or Lincoln

Edmund Sanderson Jeff Farm Training Award - Lincoln University

Open to students with an interest in farming, and studying towards a degree, diploma or certificate at Lincoln University, and require assistance on account of their financial situation, existing environment, or state of health.

Brian Aspin Memorial Scholarship

Open to students at Massey or Lincoln Universities at Honours or Masters Level, studying in an area of Agriculture, Agriculture Science, or Science (majoring in areas such as, Agricultural Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Animal Science).

Lawson Robinson Hawke's Bay A&P Society Scholarship

Open to Hawke's Bay students currently enrolled in a full time land based production industries programme, either graduate or post-graduate, at a New Zealand University.

New Zealand Grassland Trust Levy Student Scholarship - Lincoln

Closing Date: 30 Mar 2025

Open to students from Lincoln University embarking on the second year of a Bachelor of Agriculture Degree or a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in the agricultural area.

Atihau-Ravensdown Scholarship
